Modern twist on a classic craft

I'm Sally, my passion is teaching others how to cross stitch and watching this simple craft change lives. Back in 2013 I was working full-time as a lawyer. But when I went on maternity leave, I decided to leave and concentrate on designing modern cross stitch that people would be proud to stitch! I launched Caterpillar Cross Stitch in November 2015 and I'm so excited about growing this community and helping others discover cross stitch for themselves. We design and manufacture modern cross stitch kits and accessories including stitch-a-long projects and events. We partner with some amazing charities to give back – Cancer Research, Mind and NHS Charities Together. I love sharing cross stitch with the world because I can see first-hand how it enables people to awaken their creativity, relax and have some 'me time'. It brings people together, gives our minds something positive to concentrate on, helps alleviate stress and makes an amazing personal gift.

Why Caterpillar Cross Stich?

Our kits are all designed by me with a bright, modern twist on a classic craft. They’re detailed enough to keep your interest but easy enough for complete beginners (we hate backstitch and French knots!) All of the kits are made in house with love, care and attention by hand. We use only the finest materials to give you the best stitching experience – DMC cotton threads, Zweigart fabrics, DMC branded needles and professionally printed colour patterns and full, illustrated instructions! Our customer service is second to none and we have a thriving community of stitchers on Facebook for friendly and supportive chat daily. This isn’t just a product, it’s a movement – something to really be a part of and we’re here for our customers 24/7 across all social media platforms including our ever growing body of tutorial videos over on YouTube! We are launching a subscription service this year and our cross stitch design platform Love It Stitch It!
