We currently broadcast 24/7 Virgin 748, Sky 683, Freesat 813, & Freeview 85 as well as streaming Live in HD though IPTV technology online at www.createandcraft.com. Broadcasting live for 15 hours a day, we offer a huge variety of shows and products. Our website is fully transactional and our in-house call centre with Sales and Customer services is open from 6am to 11pm.

Launched in August 2015 we now have a 140 strong team across all departments. We outsource very little as we pride our self in Hochanda staff providing Hochanda services to the Hochanda consumer. This we feel is the best way to see the passion throughout and ensure it reaches the end user. We are very proud of the team we have who have come from all corners of the Direct Response, Shopping TV, and Retail industry. Hochanda allows our team to really spread their wings and stretch their imaginations to bring the best out of their skills and experience.

Customer Service Advisor

Location: Hochanda Global Limited, Nene House, Nene Valley Business Park, Oundle, PE84HN

Position Type: Part time & Full-time

Closing Date: 1st July 2022

Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to join our established company who are specialists in our field. You will form part of a friendly team, and as a Customer Service Advisor, you will be expected to have a great work ethic and take pride in delivering a fantastic customer experience.

You will be dealing with a variety of sales calls and customer service inbound and outbound calls, from general enquiries to complaints that come with every customer service position.

You will be the first contact a customer will have so we need you to be very professional and friendly to give the best possible impression of the brand and our company. This includes using strong communication and accurate administration skills when dealing with customer demand.

Hours: Four different shift patterns available - working five-days out of seven, 7.00- 15.00, 12-20.00, 14.00 – 22.00 or 18.00 – 22.00 which includes some weekend working.

Salary:

7-3pm shift £18500 £18750 after 6 months probation

12-8pm shift £18500 £18750 after 6 months probation

2-10pm shift £19K £19250 after 6months probation

6-10pm shift £9869.60 £250 pro rata equiv after 6months probation

Main duties include:

  • To place customer orders and strive to resolve all customer enquiries at first point of contact, primarily by telephone but also by correspondence and email.
  • Handle any customer service queries to satisfaction.
  • Identify and maximize sales opportunities through cross selling and up selling through a sale by service approach.
  • Maintain knowledge on; products, procedures, and policies so a consistent high level of service can be provided to customers across all shifts.
  • Identify, resolve, and record customer complaints.
  • Working as part of a team to achieve individual and department KPI’s and SLA's.
  • Other duties as required.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in customer service is preferred but not essential however you should have the following skills and attributes:
  • Excellent team player.
  • Passion for people and customer service
  • Confident telephone manner and PC literate.
  • Competent written communication skills via email and other platforms.

Broadcast Engineer

Location: Hochanda Global Limited, Nene House, Nene Valley Business Park, Oundle, PE84HN

Position Type: Full time

Description:

As a Broadcast Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the technical facilities, covering studios, galleries, post-production, playout and MCR operations. This will include providing technical support for broadcast equipment, including lighting, cameras, audio desks, vision mixers, control systems, graphics, and routers. You will also support the Technical Operatives in carrying out the day-to-day operational tasks, when required.

Line Responsibility: Head of Television

Salary: £30,000+ pa depending on experience.

Main duties include:

  • Vision control operations in the control rooms.
  • First-line fault-finding and repair of a range of broadcast and AV audio and video equipment.
  • Minimising loss of service at times of equipment failure by rapidly identifying and implementing temporary workarounds.
  • Management of the studio’s transmission, playout, and storage.
  • Installation and maintenance of an array of specialist video/audio/transmission equipment.
  • Working with technical team on small-scale project work, design, build etc.
  • Being the technical lead whilst liaising with 3rd party support/uplink providers
  • Interpreting and implementing instructions and requests from producers, directors, and other colleagues.
  • Dealing with both hardware and software problems in broadcast IT systems.
  • Keeping abreast of constant changes in technology by investigating new systems, techniques, and equipment.
  • Setting up and operating equipment and transmission links during outside broadcasts.
  • Broadcast operation on sound desks/transmission suites to cover duties as required.
  • Carrying out all duties in line with Health and Safety requirements.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience in an engineer role in Broadcast/similar field.
  • Experience in electronic engineering and using communication equipment.
  • High level of knowledge of video/audio routing.
  • Fault-finding skills and the capacity to solve technical problems in a creative way.
  • The ability to apply digital (and analogue) theory and work from diagrammatic information.
  • Sufficient colour vision and hearing.
  • Both PC and Mac literate.
  • The ability to work well in teams.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Time management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility and ability to support 24/7 channel playout.
  • A proactive and results-focused approach to work.
  • Stamina and physical fitness.
  • PAT Test trained
  • CAD Trained
  • Project management experience
