WHAT IS FLEXI-BUY?

Flexi-buy is a service we offer our customers to help make a product more affordable by spreading the cost (excluding Postage & Packaging) across 2, 3 or 4 instalments, interest free.

The first payment is made when you place your order and the remaining payments will be taken in subsequent instalments.

The following fees apply:

Any orders from £0.00 to £60, you will be able to split the cost into 2 payments (A £2.50 fee will be applied)

Any orders from £60.01 to £150, you will be able to split the cost into 3 payments. (A £5.00 fee will be applied)

Any orders from £150.01+ you will be able to split the cost into 4 payments. (A £10 fee will be applied)

HOW IT WORKS …

Step 1: Look for the Flexi-buy symbol

Wherever you see this Flexi-buy symbol - on TV or on the website - it means you can choose the Flexi-buy option for that item if you wish. The option to pay by Flexi-buy may be limited to a particular show or time period. Customers can choose this option by speaking with our orderline team, via our website or via our mobile app. All customers are eligible to use Flexi-buy when it is offered, however, we reserve the right to refuse to allow payment by Flexi-buy.

Step 2: See the Flexi-buy details on the product page

To find out which Flexi-buy options are offered for an item, simply click on the 'Flexi-buy Details' tab on the product page. You'll see what Flexi-buy Plans there are, how many payments you'll need to make, and the amount of each payment.

Alternatively, you can contact our Customer Experience Team to discuss your options.

Step 3: Flexi basket

Once you've added one Flexi-buy item to your basket, you can add others (Even if they're not on Flexi-buy). These additional items will also be included in your Flexi-buy plan*.

Please note: Check your basket before you check out, as some items may not be available on Flexi-buy.

Step 4: Select you Flexi-buy items in the checkout

Once you've added your items to your basket and reached the checkout, you'll be taken to an Order Confirmation page. Under Payment Options, tick the box 'Add Flexi Buy to my order'.

If you don't want to do this, or if you're not offered this option, you'll pay for any non-Flexi-buy items in full when you place your order.

Read through your Basket Summary to check that Flexi-buy has been applied and that your first payment (made with your order), is what you expect.

Step 5: Payment

Flexi-buy instalments must be paid with a credit or debit card. At this time Maestro cards are not supported for payment by Flexi-buy, however you may pay for a product in full using a Maestro card.

We take payment of the first instalment, plus postage and packaging, when you place your order, then subsequent monthly instalments automatically from the same card until the order is fully paid.

If the credit or debit card with which you are proposing to pay for your Flexi-buy order expires within 1 month of the final instalment under your Flexi-buy Plan is due to be taken, then you will not be able to use this card to pay for your Flexi-buy order.

Please note: If the credit or debit card you used to pay Flexi-buy instalment is lost, stolen or cancelled, you must update your details. You can do this by logging into your account on our website on the Flexi-buy Plans Page page. If you change your card details while you have any Flexi-buy instalments outstanding, the next instalment(s) due will be taken when you register your new card with us even if this is earlier than when the instalment is otherwise due. This ensures that the credit or debit card details have been validated. Alternatively you can contact our Customer Experience Team, who can update the credit or debit card details held for you.

Step 6: Confirmation of your purchase and Flexi-buy amounts schedule

You'll receive a email, detailing your purchase and confirming payment amounts and the dates they'll be taken from your credit/debit card. You'll know exactly what you'll be paying, and when.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do i pay?

Flexi-buy instalments must be paid with a credit or debit card. At this time Maestro Debit and PayPal are not supported for payment by Flexi-buy. We take payment of the first instalment and Postage & Packaging when you place your order and then subsequent instalments automatically from the same card until the order is paid in full.

If the credit or debit card with which you are proposing to pay for your Flexi-buy order expires within 1 month of the final instalment under your Flexi-buy Plan is due to be taken, then you will not be able to use this card to pay for your Flexi-buy order.

Please note: if the credit or debit card used to pay Flexi-buy instalments is lost, stolen, or cancelled, you must contact Customer Services so we can update your Flexi-buy account. Changing the card details stored against your regular Create and Craft account will not automatically update your Flexi-buy account.

Can i change the credit/debit card i use to pay my Flexi-buy instalments?

Yes. Please contact our Customer Services department, who can update the credit or debit card details held for you.

How do i settle the account early?

Please contact our Customer Experience Team and we will be able to take payment from you for your remaining instalments in one go.

What happens if I miss a payment?

We understand that sometimes mistakes happen. If we attempt to take a payment and your bank declines it, we will send you a email to let you know.

We will attempt to take payment again 7 days after the original instalment date. If your card is declined again, we will attempt the following month.

What happens if I need to return an item paid for with Flexi-buy?

If you find you need to return an item, we will refund your card for the amount you have paid so far for that item excluding Postage & Packaging. If your order was for more than one Flexi-buy item and you still have further instalments to pay, then we will adjust your schedule accordingly. Your statutory rights are not affected.

How are my instalments calculated?

Create and Craft may provide an instalment amount that differs from the amount you had expected, especially when discount vouchers are involved. If you have applied a discount voucher to your order, the discount voucher has to be split amongst the items on your order, and across the Flexi-buy instalments. When your order cannot be split equally over 2, 3 or 4 instalments, Create and Craft will always add the extra to the first instalment, so please bear this in mind.
