Honey Pot Cottage Sewing Box - Stitch a sewing box with secret storage for your sewing essentials.
High on a hill top in a little clearing in the wood sits Honey Pot Cottage, with a quaint thatched roof made for storing your needles. Lift the roof and find the perfect space for two reels of sewing thread and tucked away behind the cottage, in an old oak tree sits a space ideal for your embroidery scissors. The bees are busy making honey and of course, pinning up your sewing projects. Nestled under the house, deep inside the hill is a little storage pot just waiting to be filled with your latest mini project, maybe some hexies or other sewing bits and bobs!
This charming cottage would make a wonderful gift for a sewing friend, or even for those non sewers, who just need a little place for a few buttons and somewhere to store a needle and thread.
This project is entirely hand sewn and takes 3 or 4 evenings to complete. The finished sewing box with cottage and tree stands 6” tall.
Good quality wool blend felt, cotton fabric, card and interfacing, stuffing, washer and magnet, pins and embroidery thread are all included in the kit. You will also receive a full colour instruction booklet complete with clear step-by-step photos and one additional sheet of templates ready to cut. All patterns are shown full size. Everything comes attractively packaged so would make an ideal gift for a creative friend or treat yourself
