Thimblewood Bursting Beach Hut Full Kit
Bursting with your sewing supplies this nautical beach hut will pop open when the ‘roof’ lid is removed to reveal a place to store your bits and bobs! Made from striped ticking and stiffened with card and pelmet Vilene this cute box is such fun to make, it can be entirely hand sewn, part machined or even get out the glue if you want a quick solution! Each side of the box flaps open to reveal a fishy needle wallet, an ice cream scissor pouch, an anchor clip holder, elastic straps for threads etc and standing proud in the centre is our super felt seagull stood on a wooden (felt) post with a tiny place to store your thimble. This is a meaty project, but is easy and great fun to make with lots of interesting techniques.
