Ragged Life Shaggy Rag Rug Blanket Yarn Bundle
This blanket yarn bundle, which includes eight 250g balls of blanket yarn, allows you to purchase enough woollen blanket strips to make a 100 x 60cm shaggy rag rug entirely from quality wool at a discounted rate never seen before on Create and Craft. This eight ball bundle would allow you to loopy rag rug two 100 x 60cm rag rugs, so will certainly keep you out of trouble this Winter. As blanket yarn is a recycled material sourced from the British mills, the eight balls you will receive will vary in colour from those shown. We will however, include at least two neutral colours and two multicoloured balls in each scheme. As we pick each ball individually, we will choose schemes that are multicoloured but pair together nicely. - It’s 100% wool, so it’s not only super soft, but also excellent quality. It’s an absolute pleasure to work with, and any rug or cushion made in blanket yarn will last for generations.
- Fabric yarn comes pre-cut into strips, which saves on cutting time. We recommend cutting the strips in half for ease of use and to make them go further, but that takes considerably less time than breaking down any item of clothing into strips.
- It looks gorgeous when rag rugged. The texture and depth of the fabric is just lovely (I’ve never made anything that hasn’t looked great in this yarn!)
- It’s sustainable. Our blanket yarn is made from offcuts from blanket production in Yorkshire, so you can rest assured that every ball you use is recycling.
- It goes far. Blanket yarn is thick, which means that it covers the hessian much quicker than most fabrics. This means that you can rag rug further apart and your rag rug creation will be done in no time.
