Gina-B Silkworks Ganutell Butterfly Kit
Make 3 pretty beaded butterflies using traditional ganutell techniques. Use to embellish crafts or create jewellery. Inspired by Victorian examples, these pretty butterflies can be used to make jewellery or add as accessories to papercrafts and home decor. They can be added to your ganutell flower displays for a splash of colour. Each kit makes 3 butterflies and includes gemstone beads to make the butterfly bodies. Use the ganutell wrapping technique to wrap over the printed card shapes (a technique known as cartouchage) to add sparkle to each butterfly. Little brooch pins are included so that each can be made into a brooch. This relaunched kit has been improved and now includes DMC “light effects” thread. This thread is divisible so you can vary the look by adding more than the one strand recommended in the instructions. Two colourways are available - blues and oranges. Blue includes a blue, pink and purple set of wings, while the oranges contains wings with reds & oranges.
