This Thimble Wood original kit bundle contains all the materials needed to make two 'Doodle Stitch' embroidery hoop pictures. The first features an oriental style birdhouse hanging from a Cherry Blossom branch in full bloom. The second shows a colourful birdie sitting among a mass of blooms. Both are quick and easy to make, and combine raw edge applique (for speedy coverage) with simple stitches and dimensional elements. You don't need to be an expert stitcher to get great results. The doodle stitch technique relies on your stitches all being different lengths and at different angles so no pressure at all to be neat or exact. It is actually really relaxing to just stitch where ever you feel like it. The finished hoop embroideries are each 6” in diameter. And you get the hoops too! A full colour instruction booklet is provided, with super clear step by step photos and lots of extra tips. A separate sheet of full size templates are included for you to cut up and draw around. Don't worry if you loose a piece, all the templates are also shown full size in the booklet for reference.
