Fore Edge Painting is the traditional art of decorating the edges of a book's pages, so when splayed (when open for reading etc) a beautiful illustrator is revealed.
Product Features: The press holds the book firmly so the pages can be painted, doodled, stamped etc, the raised feet allows for hard backed books to be tucked safely underneath away from the work area. The larger bottom plate of the press, supports the pages while you work on them and means you could stamp on the edges to create your design.
This tool is perfect for using with your own handmade books but also works brilliantly with shop bought books.
