2 New Applique books designed by Pam! Inspired by art from the Persian and Ottoman Empires, the 24 applique blocks in these books are sure to add sugar and spice to your life.
To celebrate the launch of these books we’ve included two Free new patterns to make an Applique Block Tote Bag & an Applique Block Wall Hanging. They are quick and easy projects to showcase your favourite applique blocks in your home or while you’re out and about (wearing your quilt as a cape will of course look fabulous but may be a little impractical around the supermarket).
The books contains full sized patterns and instructions to make 12 appliqué blocks per book, and directions to turn your blocks into a stunning quilts.
The blocks are made using the fusible appliqué and machine embroidery. This is a quicker, easier and very satisfying appliqué method. Each appliqué block has a coloured photo of a finished block for inspiration, and both the Broken Down Pattern for tracing onto fusible webbing and Placement Pattern for positioning the fabric pieces correctly.
The bag and wall hanging projects are simple patterns that use 12” applique blocks and matching fabrics of your choice along with its step by step instructions.
