Stitching Fingers Kits are designed to bridge the gap between a traditional embroidery kit and the challenge of creating a piece of work from scratch. They are for people who are keen to try something different but are not sure where to start. I like to include a range of threads and stitches in my kits and often use other materials as well to create a variety of different textures and three dimensional effects. Most are stitched on a wool felt background. I produce kits suitable for beginners and for more experienced embroiderers and each one comes with full instructions and step by step colour photos. All my designs are original and include fabrics and threads that I enjoy using myself. My aim is that everyone completing a Stitching Fingers Kit will have the satisfaction of creating a beautiful tactile embroidery and be inspired to try developing ideas of their own.
