Kiriki Press embroidery kits offer a fresh take on traditional embroidery, pairing classic stitches with modern colour palettes and contemporary illustration. All of our patterns are screen printed in house, so you never have to trace or transfer the design. The vibrant and finely detailed kits come in a range of skills levels, offering something for everyone, from novices to seasoned stitchers. The kits are a great way to learn a new skill or simply slow life down for a few hours at a time. The end result is a functional work of art: an ornament to trim a tree, a pendant to wear, or a doll to play with (the water-based inks and natural cotton fibers make these safe for babies!).

Kiriki Press is an indie design company producing embroidery kits in Toronto, Canada. Michelle Galletta, the designer behind the kits, has a BFA in printmaking from the Ontario College of Art and Design. She started Kiriki Press after wanting to make her young niece an embroidered plushie and discovering that no such pattern or kit existed. With her background in screen printing, the idea to make high quality, hand printed kits was put into motion and Kiriki Press was launched in December 2012 with seven doll patterns. The collection has expanded over the years to include a range of other DIY needlework products and accessories. Michelle has been a contributor to Mollie Makes books and magazine, and featured in Uppercase, Canadian Living, Chatelaine, Bust Magazine, Homespun, and many other print publications and craft blogs. Her kits can be found in fine haberdasheries and gift shops all around the world.
