Welshcrafter Design

Welshcrafter Design is a home-based business nestled in the lovely seaside town of Barry in South Wales. The face behind the brand is Sharon, a mum of two and nanny of one (soon to be two!), supported by my husband Dean who kindly deals with all the packaging of orders. Like most creatives I have dabbled in a range of different crafts from cross stitching through to papercrafting. After buying a second-hand cutting machine I created a cake topper for a family member, this resulted in lots of requests to create others and Welshcrafter Design was born! I then purchased a laser machine which unleashed a wealth of possibilities resulting in expanding to create and produce tools and accessories for the baker. I am proud that everything is produced in house from start to finish and I look forward to showcasing our embossers on the show.

Why Welshcrafter Design?

Welshcrafter Design is focussed on creating tools and accessories with both the experienced and novice baker in mind. I am not ashamed to admit that I am not the world’s best cookie or cake baker (or decorator) – but that doesn’t matter! The embossers are easy to use - they save time and effort and produce perfect, consistent results on your icing. The designs can be used to decorate shop bought or home baked goodies and they are pretty enough to be left elegantly plain whilst still achieving the wow factor. Alternatively, you can be creative and decorate the designs to your hearts content. Thought and care has gone into the designs –handles allow ease of use and include a little hole for hanging, whilst the clear material enables you to see exactly where your design will go.
